Collagen FAQs

Our body slowly declines it's natural production of collagen as we get older. Collagen makes up for around 30% of the protein found in your body, which makes it one of the most important building blocks for your body. Taking collagen powder is one of the most effective and fastest ways your body is able to absorb collagen.

Frankie uses bovine collagen for our creamer range, which contains both type 1 and type 3 collagen. Type 1 is the most common collagen type found in our skin, hair, nails, organs, bones, and ligaments. Type 3 is the second most common collagen in our body, which helps to build tissue, particular in body parts with elastic properties e.g. skin.

Studies have proved that improvements can be noticed from taking just 2.5g of collagen per day. Our creamers have a recommended serve of 20g, which would be more than enough with 5g of collagen per serve.

There is no set amount or dose that you should be taking each day, but the key is the consistency of taking collagen each day.

Frankie's Collagen Creamer is a blend of bovine collagen alongside coconut milk powder. We also flavour each of our products with natural and organic flavouring, so the result is a delicious and creamy consistency.

People often find that they don't like the taste or texture of plain collagen, so taking collagen in the form of a creamer gives it a great taste and texture. Not only that, but the creamer range can act as an excellent replacement for milk in your coffees and oats.

No, Frankie Collagen is not vegan. Collagen is a supplement that comes from animal sources, therefore it is unable to be a vegan product.

The entire Frankie range is made right here in New Zealand. We are a small kiwi business that make all of the products ourself, meaning we can confidently send out our products to you knowing they were made to the highest quality.

Jar FAQs

We are doing all that we can to reduce waste and remove unnecessary consumption of materials.

All of our products are packaged and shipped in home compostable refill bags. We offer a locally designed glass jar in all of our starter packs to store your collagen in.

You can either purchase a jar individually, or you can purchase one of our starter packs which come with the jar of your choice.

Our jars are available to purchase individually, so you can add them to your order if you're looking for more than the one that comes in your starter pack.
